::: Crogge's Magazine - Issue #1 - Released :::

Dear Community,

The server has a hard time as it is, but there’s no reason to stop having fun. We need patience and Crogge needs time to get everything back on the tracks again. But what should we do in the meantime?

Well, fortunately I have a suggestion for you.

In the past a member, called Meroman, came up with this wonderful idea of making a magazine about the server. The bad thing is that the idea ended up in the trashcan, while nobody exactly knows what went wrong. Probably it was because we didn’t have enough time to realize this idea, but this time things will go differently.

I’m following a study as graphic designer. I learn how to make logo’s, advertisements, flash animations and much more. Currently we’re busy at making newspapers and a TV guide. I really like my study and I want to use it for the server as well, so I though, why not trying to give Meroman’s idea another shot and see how it will turn out.

Now my question for you, beloved spamming community. I need to fill the magazine with as much news, information and silliness as possible. This magazine will be made for and by community members.

You can help me to realize this idea.

I need:

-Collumnists (who write stories about raids, events or other adventures ingame)
-Illustrator (for making illustrations by the different parts of the magazine)
-Designing (for the looks of the magazine in general like the cover and background of the pages)
-Redactionmembers (for gathering news, interviews and brainstorming about the magazine)

In the first edition of Crogge’s Magazine you’re able to:

-Promote your guild by signing up for the Guildadvertisementpage (advertisement can be self-made or made by me
-Participating with the fan-art contest
-Sending letters, small messages or anything you need to share with the server (for the later editions we love to receive reactions about the magazine itself)
-Win a prize by solving a puzzle of quiz
-And much much more..

Also there will be given information about the history of the server, the hardware and software which gets used to keep things running and there will be an article about our WotLK testrealm. Besides all this we’ll have an interview with a very special guest..

I hope you'll be looking forward to htis as much as I do. This is only a sneak preview of what you can expect. We'll be the first World of Warcraft privateserver with its own magazine!

Lol, no, besides school and scouting I've got nothing better to do. :p

Cruelty, pm me a list of duties you think you can fulfill to help us with the magazine. If it's possible, please add some work of yourself, so that we can both figure out how we're gonna apply it to the magazine. You'll get a response as soon as possible, but first.. SLEEP! =P All the ideas and effort/support are most welcome.

Pretty cool idea. And a hell of a lot of work for you.

What do you plan to use for production of the Magazine? Indesign or Ragtime? And what format do all submissions have to be? Like texts for example. Docs, or plain Txts?
The same goes for pictures. So you have less time consuming things to do if most is already in the right format.
